Job Position:

• Unit Head Continuous Audit

This role involves assisting the Head of Continuous Audit in supervising and managing continuous audit reviews and selecting control processes for testing. Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing the Continuous Audit Roadmap, methodology, and procedures.
• Creating reporting and control dashboards for continuous audits using Power BI and MS Excel.
• Coordinating with the Head in selecting control processes for testing to review the design and operational effectiveness of these controls.
• Supervising research and testing of controls as per defined guidelines through data mining and analysis.
• Overseeing continuous audits and managing the team’s work for ongoing assessment of controls.
• Reviewing reports and team work, and following up until reported exceptions are resolved.
• Preparing summaries and MIS of auditing procedures, checking compliance against reported issues.
• Recommending the closure of continuous auditing activities after validating the automated controls implemented by management to mitigate associated risks.
• Maintaining cordial and professional working relationships with stakeholders and auditees, and discussing workable Management Action Plans in response to audit findings.
• Supervising and monitoring the performance of the continuous auditing team to ensure reviews are conducted efficiently and effectively within the given time schedule.
• Preparing periodic reporting packages for outstanding issues to be shared with the Head of Continuous Audit for presentation to the Board Audit Committee.
• Completing any other assignments given by line management.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or MBA, M.Com, M.Sc in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a professional certification such as CFAP, CAF, CA, or CIA from an HEC recognized university.
• Additional certifications in relevant fields, including data sciences, will be given extra weightage.

Experience:

• At least 6 years of experience in a commercial bank, with a minimum of 3 years in the internal audit function of a bank.

Age:

• Candidates must be no older than 55 years as of the last date of application.
