Introduction to PEC:
The Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) is a professional body responsible for regulating engineering education and the engineering profession in Pakistan. Established in 1976 under the PEC Act 1976, the Council registers engineers and professional engineers and licenses engineering firms for consulting and operational activities in Pakistan.
PEC represents the engineering community nationwide, providing support to the Government of Pakistan at both federal and provincial levels. It also functions as a think tank, aiming to establish scientific standards for engineering innovations and services.
Headquartered in Islamabad, PEC has regional branches and liaison offices in major cities across Pakistan. The council became a temporary member of the Washington Accord in 2010 and achieved full membership in 2017. Additionally, PEC gained temporary membership in the International Professional Engineer (IntPE) Agreement (IPEA) in 2011 and full membership in 2018.

The Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) is currently inviting applications for the position of Senior Director MIS. Qualified and experienced individuals from across Pakistan are eligible to apply.
Eligibility Criteria for
Qualifications:
- B.E., BSc in Computer Engineering, Computer System Engineering, or Software Engineering
- MSc, MCS, BCS, or equivalent qualification (minimum of 16 years of relevant education)
Experience:
- At least 17 years of post-qualification experience
Age Limit:
- Maximum of 55 years
Highly qualified, energetic, and motivated individuals from all regions of Pakistan, including Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, and Punjab, are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates must be willing to serve anywhere in Pakistan.
